Happy Saturday! A busy day ahead. My Dh is working for himself today and so I have the kids to myself. Soccer and keeping them entertained should make for a busy day!

I am starting with coffee and my spinach ricotta pie. Actually 3 servings. I want some good food before I start running around!

I plan to go see The Men Who Stare at Goats today, it looks like a good funny movie :-) After I walk the dogs of course.

Breakfast is Fibre One cereal and 2 eggs, and coffee and water. Will likely have a snack after walking the dogs!

It's a beautiful day here in Central Kentucky. The family and I are going on a hike today. There is a wildlife preserve about 30 minutes away that we've never been to. The kids are excited about it and so am I!

Have a great day.

Good morning!

Actually it feels like noon...I had an early start to the day...been up for nearly 5 hours....5am is way too early for a saturday morning!!

Baylor - I remember the days of running the kids to soccer & hockey & dance & tae kwon do & paddling & swim lessons & guitar lessons & piano lessons & singing lessons & track & rugby & whatever else they decided to try!

At the time it seemed so busy, but now....I miss it! I sound like one of those parents who over-schedules their kids.....but I didn't! They were usually only registered for 1 thing at a time, unless seasons overlapped. Now they have their own cars & I'm just a fan....not a bus driver lol

It looks like it is trying ot be sunny here....I'm not worried about our weather - I'm wishing for sunshine & warm weather starting next Wednesday in Me/NH/NJ & NYC!!! anything you New Yorkers can do to order up some nice weather??

Good Morning everyone, had a long night last night, my daughter phoned at 2 in the morning her car wouldnt turn off. Husband had to go in and find out she had a coffee in her cup holder and it wasnt going in to park all the way,LOL. Then 1 hour later one of our sons called because the other one had to much to drink and was acting a idiot, so back in he went to deal with that, My 5 year old woke up around 4 complaining his knees hurt, hopefully growing pains, I worry with every little ache. So pretty tired this morning. Baylor I bought all the stuff to make the spinach riccotta pie, still not sure on the butter is that 1/2 cup? Going to put up xmas lights today and put all my Halloween stuff away in the shed. I love this time of year. Reba would love to hear how the show is. Baylor also how A xmas carol is, but pretty sure it will be good.
Have a great day.

good afternoon peeps.
just thinking about getting my dinner sorted out now, beef with loads of veggies, will make into a stiry fry tonight.

Xmas lights already? it's not even mid december. How long do you guys celebreate xmas for?? Mine probably won't even go up, they haven't gone up for the past few years. We do the present thing but thats about it. If we had kids around I think it would be different but they don't bother me now.
