LOL I've just altered my profile and taken that big step myself.
I kind of feels like moving on from primary school to high school.
I have an awful lot of weight to lose but I want to take it slowly and learn to eat correctly.
Good luck and enjoy

Its my first day on OWL too. I have been on induction for 4 weeks and lost 5lbs. Feels weird adding more carbs as I am frightened of my already slow weight loss going the other way! Still, its worth a try!

Good luck to both of you... I have learned a whole new level of patience and realize that this way of eating just makes me FEEL better!

Started OWL this week, the scales will tell if it was a good or bad move on Monday. I think I am single handedly keeping the salad vegetable industry alive in the UK with the amount I am eating !

GOOD MORNING,
I too have jumped into OWL this week was and am alittle afraid just like all of you. going to do it very slowly, Baylor, was saying to just add 5 more carbs from the induction list at first. Think I will try that out,see how it goes. Hope everyone has a good weekend and good luck.

I am starting OWL on Thursday. I too am feeling a bit tepid about it. I have had good luck on induction and don't want to upset things.
I am not a fast loser but I am happy with what I lost considering I went on vacation and gained 5 pounds and have lost it and more since getting back.
But on the other hand, I feel if I stay on induction too long I will not learn how to move forward and I will stall or else go back to bad eating habits.
So after losing 20 pounds on induction (started, stopped and started again) the past 4 weeks, I am ready to go to OWL
Good luck to all of us, we will succeed

WOW...I'm so proud of you all!!!

It SEEMS like a big step, but really, its not as big as it seem. Probably because the FIRST thing you add is more veggies.

Just a bit of encouragement...Although I DO loose at 20 carbs, I loose FASTER at 25-30 carbs.

Good Denis, I need that encouragement. I hope I am like that because I am a turtle in induction and I am scared. I did kind of move up in my carbs yesterday and the day before. I guess it was because it was in my sub conscious that I was moving to OWL anyway and I worked out. I have a lot of yard work to do today and will probably eat more than 20 also.
