1 to 2 of 2
In the past, I've never had a healthy habit of exercise; but I get it now; I really get it.
About a month ago:
I starting taking take a brisk walk every day for 30 minutes.
Also,3 times a week, I go to the gym for 45 minutes of weight training.
In the 1st 3 weeks, I started firming up, but had only lost 2 lbs. ;-(
Then, I returned to Atkins Phase 1. After 8 days on Phase 1 (daily average 15 net carbs), I have lost 8 lbs. I don't count calories or fat; just net carbs.
As a 58 year-old woman, hypothyroid (on meds)and post-menopausal(on meds), I know the weight is not going to magically drop off without me putting 100% of my efforts into the Atkins lifestyle which includes exercise.
Sorry to ramble on and on, it's just that I am so passionate about the connection of Atkins and exercise. By developing new habits of regular exercise coupled with the Atkins Nutritional Approach, I am confident I am on my way to the finish line.
Wishing you all success in your journeys.
