Yes, I did use the liquid whipping cream...I also used Splenda which has an after taste but I am use to that now..Maybe 1tbs is too much for me because that was a disaster....I have completely lost my apetite...which is not good!...I am a taste person..so everything has to taste really good..I was just really shocked because everyone says how good it is....I may try it again..using less than I did today or maybe I will just have to try 1/2 & 1/2..I really dislike waisting money
Half and half has .64 nc per tbsp. , 1.72 g fat
Heavy cream has .42 per tbsp ,5.51 g fat
Heavy cream should not make you stall unless you over indulge. You will be getting good fats and less net carbs.
I know the nc is negligible but the fat speaks for itself. That can really help with calories and fat intake.
I did check the date on it...it has not expired..my boss really liked it...but he puts splenda & peanut butter on cucumbers...so his taste buds are not eactly all there....if you know what i mean...
What did you used to use in your coffee? or did you just drink it with no type of creamer?
don't go for 1/2 and 1/2.. Try the light cream. It will still give you better fat.
Try just a shot. I use sweetnlow. I don't like splenda in my coffee and I had problems with splenda in the past.
You will find the right thing for you.
I like to bake with splenda, but in my tea I don't like splenda, I use sweet-n-low.
There is a difference too in just heavy cream and whipping cream. I can not use whipping cream. I think that tastes funny.. but the heavy cream is just right.
Maybe that is it.
I use to put French Vanilla creamer in my coffee and sugar..I have never used whipping cream...heavy or otherwise..I think I should just get heavy cream instead of whipping cream...that and splenda do not work well together...maybe I will try some sweetnlow...I was trying to balance out eating the Atkins bars (1per week and 1 cup coffee per week)..so I dont feel deprived...
You should not feel deprived. You can have both things.
If you are feeling like you are deprived it will lead to going off plan .We do not want that!
So if you want them both have them both for now.. As you move a long and have more food options You will feel less and less deprived..
Baylor,
Thats a good point....heavy cream vs. heavy whipping cream.......
I haven't thought about that....
so you use heawvy cream......
when you make whipped cream do you use the whipping cream or still just heavy cream?
